Our History

K&G Power Systems started in 1949 rewinding armatures in a Brooklyn garage for the Coney Island Bumper Car Company. For over 50 years, K&G has grown to become one of New York's Premier industrial equipment sales and service centers. Expanding services to include electric motors, pumps, fans, controls, drives, air compressors, etc., however we've come a long way since the bumper car days.

From our humble beginnings, K&G Power Systems has grown through hard work, honesty, knowledge, and welcoming our customers as part of our family. Our customers and vendors demand it and deserve it, but more importantly, we demand it ourselves. Nothing leaves our shop without full testing and the assurance our repair will perform as good as a new machine. It is this pride in workmanship, quality, and personal attention that has allowed our company to grow over the years. It is that same pride that will carry us for another 50 years.
